These blanks look to be of good quality, and I look forward to turning them. Your video on turning the blanks off center to preserve the paint on one side was most helpful, and I am glad top have found it. It would be helpful if you mentioned it in the description of blanks that benefit from using this technique. I only found it by chance while exploring the rest of you site. I will send pictures when the pens are completed.

Not what I expected

I’ve turned two pens so far with good result; how ever, finding several of the remaining blanks cracked and requiring some sort of stabilization before turning. This is not what I expected.
