Lo-Fi Subtle Grain and Noise Brushes for Affinity

Digging the Vibe

Having been delighted with previous Retro Supply co products, I bought this set to primarily add texture to the artwork for a mixed media, narrative animation project. That project is still in the early stages of production so I decided to test my purchase out on the faux vinyl ep sleeve I had put together for a video tone poem. In no time at all, sterile digital sheen had been suitably enhanced with the authentic damage and grunge you would expect from a record that had been knocking about since 1968. Straightforward, flexible and surprisingly subtle when required.

These brushes are exactly what I was looking for, and I'm sure that I'm not even using them properly. I have been learning how to create digital art for about two years now (Affinity) and have only really begun to explore brushwork (using a tablet) - the effects possible are overwhelming to me sometimes! Anyway I have some vector art that needs scuffing up/softening a bit and these brushes are helping me to realise the image that's in my head - soooo hard! Thank you for making these brushes :)
