Decaf Colombia Magdalena

Really impressed with this decaf. The sugarcane ethyl acetate process clearly makes a difference. It doesn’t have that flat, hollow taste I usually expect from decaf. Instead, the cup is clean, smooth, and well balanced, with enough structure to still feel like proper specialty coffee. No harsh bitterness or weird aftertaste, just an easy, enjoyable drink. It works especially well for late afternoon or evening when I still want coffee without the caffeine hit. Easily one of the better decafs I’ve had and proof that decaf doesn’t have to feel like a compromise. From 49th Parallel Coffee, this one actually delivers.
