Super comfortable wedding band
Because neither of us feel comfortable with wearing jewellery 24/7, my fiancé suggested getting flexible rings. I wasn’t sure at first, wondering whether it would be weird to wear a silicone ring as a wedding ring, but I was willing to give it a try, because after all, I want to feel comfortable wearing the ring on a daily basis. We ordered this one and the Black Opal coloured version as our wedding bands and used them during the ceremony. When used to metal jewellery, at first the feeling is different of course - but that’s the whole point: they feel super comfortable, sit safely on the hand and many times I’m not even aware I am wearing a piece of jewellery. The colour in direct comparison with other gold jewellery I have is slightly darker, more yellow reddish and they compare compare closer to a matte ancient gold hue, but the shine is amazing and all our guests mistook it for real gold.
I love the width and enjoy that due to the flexibility, the thickness is not an issue, in fact, unless my hands are really swollen, or I move the ring intentionally, I can hardly feel it on my finger.
We had our ceremony in Greece and unfortunately Enso doesn’t ship their hybrid rings here, but for a view renewal in the US, we are considering getting the hybrid versions as well.
The engraving is very discreet, but looks beautiful when it catches the light at a certain angle. I would have loved to be able to have the engraving on the inside, but now like it on the outside, too.
Altogether, very happy with my purchase, and the quality and style and the friendliness of customer service are exceptional. Thinking of getting some of their other jewellery (especially the ones that support good causes) as well.
