Nice and Easy dress

I’m finishing my first Delaney and though it’s very well explained I have found that the measure of the button placket is way too short if you’re sewing the circle skirt. I strongly recommend to measure the length of the dress, once attached the bodice and the skirt, before cutting the placket. Otherwise, I’m very happy with the results.

I bought this combo for my daughters and they looked amazing in their matching dresses, it made my heart happy to make them so happy.

Size 2 Child

I am making the shirtwaist with pockets and find that the hem band covers the lower part of the pocket.I can find nothing in the instructions that tells me not to do the pocket with the smaller sizes because of this. I am really disappointed that this wasn’t noted as it will affect the use of the pockets and perhaps how the dress will,hang.
