Honest review, frustrating experience.

I have a very modified Sig P226 Legion RXP, with a 5" barrel, Foxtrot 2R Light, and Romeo 1PRO RDS. I ordered an MVP with all the options; Suede lining, Safety strap, cut for RDS, light, and threaded 5" barrel. Total almost $400. The first holster I received the Safety strap was too long and the hardware was very sloppily installed. The strap would not secure the firearm in the holster, and could easily be pushed forward off the hammer. The hardware was crooked, the parts not seated properly.Returned. The second holster I received was almost perfect- the safety strap fit well and hardware was properly installed, but they forgot to add the cut length for the threaded barrel. Returned again. The third holster I received was finally correct, everything fit right. This one has required an extensive break in period. I am finding that the suede lining is actually causing drag against all the surface area of the gun and light, significantly increasing the effort required to draw. I will continue to break in and practice the draw until the suede is worn smooth enough for easy drawing. I now 100% regret spending the money on this option and wish I could have the holster without it. Now that I have the holster which actually fits and giving it a break in period, I notice that some of the stitching on the inside is loose and beginning to fray. Will be monitoring this closely. Throughout this experience, I exchanged a total of over 50 emails with the "Chief Happiness Officer" in order to get what I paid for. At one point between holsters #2 and #3, they insinuated that I was somehow responsible for the 2nd holster not being long enough, even though before the first one I specified a 5" threaded barrel. Not the greatest customer service communication I've seen. Will probably not be spending this much money on a leather holster ever again. All in all a very good holster, at the cost of an extremely frustrating experience, 2 extra trips to the PO, and an extra month of wait time.
