I needed something to sharpen my garden pruners and loppers and bought this diamond hone since my sharpening stones weren't cutting it (pun intended...). Holy moly - this works great. I sharpened all the garden tools then pulled out scissors around the house. Worked great on those too. Ended up wandering around the house looking for stuff to sharpen - kitchen knives, Buck knife, etc. Should have bought two of them.
