Kia Optima - Polyurethane Engine Mount Bushings

Strong and quality Polyurethane! So here's my review of the item: As I first indicated the material and the feel of the Bushings are good and items arrived quickly (and I live in NY). To my surprise they are (*D. Trump voice*) HUGE, and did not come with any damages or scratches etc. Mechanic took a crack at it and they were relatively simple to install. Now as far as how they work/perform, I would say definitely! Now when you accelerate it's like the car reacts faster when you accelerate hard, it gives it that "uhmphhh"..more traction and all that good stuff. Going with what another review indicated, now the car slows down well when you downshift to second/first gear, really cool. Now on to my con/part I don't like and thought it be fair to warn everyone about it; and its the fact that the car vibrates A LOT while idling. Please note that this is not due to the quality of the product but rather a normal/expected side effect of having stiffer Mount bushings. So you sacrifice commodity over performance. I installed my polyurethane solid engine motor mounts. So much more throttle response, smooth shifts at wide open throttle from a dig. Riding in gear is instant torque with no jerkiness up and down from the engine swing, just forward to backward from acceleration. Didn't add any noticeable vibration increase to my 2.0t with straight pipes. Feels like a whole new car, fixed all hard shift feeling between 1st and 2nd. And even further softened other shifts.

Great service, quick shipping. Just installed them today and I can definitely feel better shifting and "tighter drive". The only con is that you can feel vibrations more when idling or reversing slowly while trying to park. Not an issue with me. Overall good buy.
