I was disheartened when Gold Toe quit making their *true* mid calf merino socks when my drawer-full wore out because today's brands are often short enough to be called crew length. I realize every inch costs the manufacturer money. These are fairly close substitutes but about an inch too short on a 5'11" me. Please consider adding to the length. Overall good socks.
