Pleasant woody taste
Dry leaves: Mostly loose leaves, some of them compressed, but it is easy to separate. Earthy, dusty, medicinal smell. Dry leaves in hot gaiwan: Still smells earthy, but softer and more pleasant. Wet leaves and first infusions release woody notes. Taste is soft and balanced. There are no sharp or heavy notes. Aftertaste stays long. It’s quite a pleasant tea. It will stay on my shelf for a while, no need to hurry up with liu bao.
