L Pro filter- great colours

I’d read some good things about the L Pro filter reducing the effects of light pollution while also maintaining natural colours of deep space objects. My first ever Deep space image was Orion Nebula and I used the L Pro filter. I’m really happy with the results- taken from Bortle 6 area in Brisbane with the moon rising.

Good Filter

Significantly improved nebulosity in nebulae as well as fine detail in galaxies. Only downside is that it reduced the intensity of stars.

Works as expected

Cuts light pollution nicely, though gives images a slightly blue or cold look. No awkward side effects such as halos around stars.
