D.R. Harris Spearmint Toothpaste

Good toothpaste, but be warned....

If you enjoyed a free sample of the Spearmint toothpaste from D. R. Harris (when you ordered something else from their website in the U.K.) -- be warned -- the toothpaste in the free samples is more concentrated than the toothpaste in the 75 mL tubes for purchase at Fendrihan, or anywhere else. The free sample is a more vibrant green in color, takes much longer to foam up (allowing more brushing time before needing to spit out) and most importantly, has a more intense spearmint and basil flavor that results in a very pleasant brushing experience and very refreshing afterfeel (due to the basil). The 75 mL purchase product is lighter green in color, and has a much less minty flavor and the basil is almost totally absent. Foams up in the mouth very quickly. The abrasive (calcium carbonate) is still there, and it does a decent job, but the experience is similar to using any drug-store brand toothpaste that has a much cheaper price point. I am disappointed D.R.Harris has chosen to misled potential buyers with the superb samples! For what it's worth, the sample is also Made in India, and is a superb toothpaste in my opinion. The 75 mL product is also Made in India, and subpar.

Great quality toothpaste that works well, with just the right amount of mint. Will be buying this again.
