I’ve only ever worn the usual suspects when it comes to basketball shoes Nike’s, Adidas, Under Armor, etc. I’ve never even considered switching from my KD 11s, that’s until I walked into an APL store. The brick and mortar store looks like something from the future! White LED lights, clean lines, and a time less aesthetic that screams quality and care. The day I bought my first pair of APL basketball shoes I was on my way to foot locker to get a new pair of KDs, a shoe that I’ve worn for years, a tried and true shoe that has served me well in during my basketball career. Before I could even make it to Footlocker I noticed APL’s sleek looking store and randomly took a peek inside. The kind sales representative promptly gave me the run down of the company’s history and what they specialize in. One thing led to another and I ended up trying on a pair of the “Concept” basketball shoe and I immediately fell in love! The shoe was light weight, comfortable, and most importantly the shoe felt like I would be protected from an ankle injury. I told the rep to bring a size 12 but to my surprise they were sold out both online and in store. This was disappointing because I think the design of that style of shoe is the best I have ever seen. Nevertheless, I was so impressed that I opted for the “superfuture” model instead. I really hope APL restocks the “concept” line in my size soon because I will be the first to buy them but I am throughly happy with my purchase and I would highly recommend any shoe that they offer. After around 2 months of wear I can confidently say that this is the best basketball shoe that I have ever worn. APL has won over a new customer in me for life. 10/10.

The ankle space is terrible

I take like 2 minutes just to get my feet inside, the foot space is good but the ankle doesn't feel right
