Finally found the Board Shorts I was looking for

I bought a pair of board shorts similar to this on Maui 20 years ago. They were my favourite swim shorts but the company stopped making that style and I've been looking for something similar ever since. These shorts are almost identical except that my originals had velcro along the lace up seam so they sat flat at teh front and didn't gape even if the laces were loose. Lack of additional velcro closure is the only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars. These shorts are comfortable and look great with bikini tops. They provide coverage but don't look like sloppy boy board shorts. They are an excellent solution if your thighs rub together and/or you have saddle bags (recurring issues of mine:) And the fabric is stiff enough that it doesn't just cling to you when they are wet, they keep their flattering shape. Great find!
