These skis were perfect for the backcountry to take to Mount Carlisle Lodge in Selkirks. Snow was fast and so were the skis with Phantom wax. Ski is light, surfs well in powder, edges on the alpine wind blown crust, and is an all around GREAT backcountry ski. I trust it in all conditions.

Really fun, light, all conditions ski

I have these mounted with Marker Kingpins, and find the setup to be quite light. It isn’t an extreme touring set up, but light enough and makes for a ski that isn’t too much work doing jump turns or climbs. You can’t ski the tails so you can’t be lazy, but they spin easily and the tails release well in heavier snow. They turn really well and ski like a shorter ski on packed powder or hard(er) pack. Float is great, as you’d expect, and they did well as the pow got chopped up, riding over the chop. They tips are a little bit floppy. Haven’t skied true crud with them yet, but I expect they’ll do well. Overall a fantastic all-mountain ski.
