VITAL ESSENTIALS® Duck Freeze Dried Raw Mini-Patties

My Cat's Fave!

My cat has her head down in her bowl before the scrunched up patty is even served. We've tried other similar products, but none get devoured like Vital Essentials! ​The duck is her dinner, so I love the patties because I can measure out a portion for her dependent on how much kibble she's had throughout the day. She also likes it completely dry, even though some have compared it to eating sawdust 😅, and she will lick her lips after she's done for what seems like an eternity, because she has to savour it all. ​I love that she's partially raw for her well-being and that it gives her variety in her diet, so she's really engaged with her meals. I would highly recommend anything from Vital Essentials - but the duck is excellent if you're looking for something with higher protein content, and potentially hypoallergenic for your cat. My cat is quite small in stature, but I swear this supports a healthy weight for her as it seems to keep her satiated, regardless of the serving size. And if you don't add water - make sure your cat is a good drinker to wash down the food afterwards!

My cat goes fanatical for these freeze dried products! While I'm preparing it he stretches up my leg and gives a little 'love' bite to say, "Hurry up!" which he never did with the canned stuff, and I was feeding him high quality cans too! Yes there is a bit of prep with the patties, but if you love your furry friend it will be of little issue. What I do to speed up the process is break the patty into little pieces, then add some water and then continue to break the pieces with a fork until I get the right consistency. The whole process doesn't take longer than 3 minutes, but the rewards for your kitty are worth it! I highly recommend this product and will continue to be a returning customer.
