I purchased a bed wetting alarm and bed pad package online from The Parenting Garden. It arrived very quickly. The first night my son wet - but the bed mats meant it was quick and easy to get him changed and for all of us to get back to sleep. The next two nights the alarm sounded and even though my son did not wake until I woke him up, the noise and vibration of the alarm was obviously enough for his brain to tell his bladder to hold on (he had a small 50c size wet patch on his underwear). Since then he has worn the alarm nightly and it has not sounded at all and he has either woken to use the bathroom or slept through and remained dry!! It has given him such a boost - he can now do sleepovers without worrying. The information contained with the kit is very useful and the tools provided are great, particularly if you have a younger child who will benefit from using the chart and stickers.
