A Whale of a Tale

I purchased my first Cozy Blue embroidery kit, 'Moonlight Pine', from Sea Bre' Yarn shop in Coupeville, WA while I was on vacation. I'm new to embroidery. The kit had everything I needed. I had it completed before we left for home a week later. It made me sit and enjoy my surroundings a little each day. The embroidery bug has bitten and I ordered the 'Whale of a Time' and 'Lucky Day' kits to do here at home in the evenings and on my next trip. They are compact and easy to travel with. I also saw that I can order the kit without the hoop which will be great moving forward as I gain more experience❣️

I am a stay at home mom with two boys under two. I love painting, but I can’t even think of doing that these days. I really missed being creative and have always thought hand embroidery art was pretty, but I never thought I could actually do it. I decided to give it a try since it is so easy to pick up and put down. I did a lot of research and decided to try this kit out. It turned out so wonderful! The directions were clear to follow. I enjoyed the process and now love having this cute whale to display! I ordered the sea captain and the cultivate kindness kits this morning. Can’t wait to do another one and continue to learn!
