Vitesse Cycling Musette

Not for me, but my son loves it!

I purchased this bag wanting something close to a traditional messenger bag. And though the Vitesse delivers on that front, the lack of organization really killed it for me. I feel the only thing this bag was missing is the front zip pockets that’s available on the larger sized version. I also think the bag could have used the gold lining that’s used in other Waterfield bags. Without it the bag did come off a tad cheap feeling. All that said it to still a wonderful messenger. It’s insanely comfortable to wear and quite stylish. Though the bag wasn’t for me, my son absolutely loves it. He’s at the age where he doesn’t have a lot of things he carry with him but that doesn’t stop him from taking this bag everywhere. To him it is the coolest bag ever and that is more than enough for me.

The Goldilocks bag!

I wanted a bag for my every day carry (book + journal) but also be able to pop my MacBook Air in when needed. I feel like I looked at every permutation of a small sling bag and nothing fit the bill. Too big, too small, too tech, not enough pockets, too modern, not modern enough. It was a tall order, but I took a chance on this bag and it's already my new favorite. Fits great when I'm running around town, fits everything I need, and sits nicely on my back when I'm on my bike without feeling like I'm slogging a messenger bag.

The size and form of this bag was perfect for my need. I love the feel of the waxed canvas and get many compliments on it. Two improvements would be helpful. First something to hold the shoulder strap together. Second, please line the inside with your gold material like your other bags.
