I love the product, it works well in rivers and streams. I used on four floating trip on the eleven point river. My brother and I drank the water it produced for those days and had no problems what so ever. Definitely going in my GOOD bag.

Excellent support

Our first trip out with the survivor filter, the little plastic piece where the outlet tube attaches broke off. The unit did not survive airline luggage handling. However, we are still able to use the filter by aiming the outlet sprout at a gallon bag. For 1 week, we probably saved 4 gallon worth of disposable plastic bottle. The filtered tap water for drinking and ice cube making tasted excellent. We were able to use both the wall outlet and a usb battery power bank to run the filter. After we return from the trip, we reported the damage looking to order a replacement part. Customer support honored the lifetime guarantee and ship out a replacement filter that includes the broken piece. Since it's part of a consumable, I fully expected to have to pay for it. I'm pleasantly surprised that they have gone above and beyond.
