Tiny crochet heart garland

The pattern and all the things that came in the kit were great except the linen thread. I tried and tried multiple times to use it and it kept splitting apart. I finally gave up and will make the garland from bigger yarn and a larger crochet hook. It is probably just my older hands that can't work such things thread and with the tiny hook.
