First day.

Here in Texas, my AC was running 24/ 7 without stopping, and it only May. after 1/2 of the attic was covered, I woke up in the morning freezing, and the house was quiet, I thought the ac was broken. Then remembered the new silver stuff in the attic. The other half was just finished today and how lovely to have a very cool and sometimes quiet home again.

Off-grid Tent Hack

I used this to add another layer to my MGPTS tent in North East Maine woods. With having temps at -13f before 2025 ended. Still lots of winter left. I needed something light enough that inner tent liner could hold up. Seems to work good in warm weather of 20s-30s. Im curious to see when winter returns to negative 10 plus without wind; to see how much difference there is.
