I really like this ink
Angela · July 11, 2025
A lovely true green
This is a very nice deep mossy green that looks lovely on the page, not yellow or blue, but a true soft green, very classy. The ink is slightly wet and flows well, but dries pretty fast

Deep Blackened Green
Love the color, sparkles are an added bonus. I use these shimmer inks (J.Herbin only so far) in my Jinhao Shimmering Sands, black, silver-tones X750 with Goulet's 1.1mm stub nibs, of which I have several. They're all wet writers, and I've had less clogging than in other pens I've tried that write drier. There are times when I need to pull out the brass sheet (Goulet pen tuning supplies) to free the nib, but this is surprisingly rare. I do flush the pen and nib after every fill. I think it's worth the trouble, especially this color. Using them so wet means an extra bit of dry time, but even as a lefty, I'm able to avoid smearing. I do use a blotter if I'm turning the page quickly. No bleeding through my Leuchtturm journal, though of course some ghosting as the paper is thin and the ink very dark.
