The title says it all! Removed the rivets that held the bottom metal seal mount to the door by “partially” drilling off the head of the rivets. Pulled out the old seal from the end of the seal mount. Sprayed the top edge of the seat with silicone lubricant while the seal was wound up. Doing this helps keep the spray be applied only to the grip/engagement side of the seal. Slip the seal in the mount and riveted back together. Less than a hour start to finish. E Z P Z.

The bead on one side of the product was slightly larger than spec. Product would not install in one of the channel groves without peeling the material. Had to throw the product away after it tore during installation. The material itself was of good quality but just had inaccurate tolerances.

Garage door bottomseal

This seal is the only one that fits my door. I cleaned out the 2 slots & then sprayed each one with silicone. Then I was able to slide the seal into the slots, both sides at the same time, by myself in about one minute. Easy.
