My favorite blue
Mysterious - it is a cold, steely blue that somehow feels so inviting. It is superficially similar to Penman Sapphire, to Diamine Majestic, etc, and yet it is utterly sui generis. It is dark and yet surprisingly shades prominently, but in that unusual Sailor way where you can never predict how the ink will pool. It's always lovely, though. It's my favorite blue because it's so hard to place and yet always speaks to me. A casual eye will say, "just a basic professional blue." A blue-fanatic will say, "This is . . . oh, wow! There are no words! Ineffable blue! The blue of the furthest reaches of the empyrean!"

Great Ink, Fast Delivery
I bought this ink to be used with my two Sailor fountain pens. Love the color.

Bright, shading, inspiring
This is everything that your typical Sailor ink is except for being a little less water resistant than their standard colors and it doesn't sheen much. It has very rich shading properties, has a subtle, well done brightness that makes it stand out and emote at you, but without the eye-searing contrast of some other inks. It's a very pleasing, almost hypnotizing shade of pure blue that isn't as light/bright as Kon Peki, but not has heavy-handedly intense as Bleu de Minuit from Jacques Herbin. It has the characteristic good flow that I have come to expect from Sailor inks, and is similarly well-behaved. It's an extremely competently engineered ink, and one that will melt a lot of hearts on the page, IMO, and calm many angry nerves. It's the sort of homeostasis ink that sets you at ease, puts a gentle smile on your face, and calms your mind and heart. At least, until water splashes onto your work.
