I always buy this kind of pant from Jostar. They usually last for a few years. Latest pair I bought do seem to be slightly thinner but not by much. They are meant to be a loose pant on the leg. Elastic waist will fit different sizes of waist. If you put them on and sit down, look at the top of your lap. If you can see your skin color through the fabric, then maybe the pants are too small. I'm dieting and slowly outgrowing my older pants. That and the toenails on my four legged fur baby has poked a hole in them. That is a clue. Another reason I like them is animal hair is easily brushed off. I will buy again, but will keep an eye on material thickness.
