Turmeric Ground Organic - Issue

I’ve been buying Turmeric Ground Organic for at least a couple of years. I use it daily (1 tablespoon) in hot water to help with my inflammation. It has always been very effective. But, in this last order there are small twigs in the powder and my stomach has been cramping. I am going to stop using it for a week to determine if it is the turmeric causing the issues. This is the first batch that has had twigs in the package.
