I found KJP by chance several months ago and I am very pleased at the quality and price point. I’ve made several orders already and intend to use them again.

Excellent selection by store for shipped wood order

This is my third delivery form KJP Hardwoods where the selection of my order by staff was excellent for rough cut wood. In fact the the lumber needed very little milling base on the store's pretreatment for " rough cut". I will not hesitate to order again on line!

Poplar - a great choice in woods

The poplar I received from KJP was very high quality, nice grain, and a good weight. It weighed approx. 2.75lbs per bd/ft. There were none of the "green" tones that give poplar a bad rap. (although if there was, that's easily fixed by leaving it in direct sunlight for a while-the green turns brown) Very happy with it, I'm sure I'll be getting some more. KJP shipping got it here in good time too, which is a huge plus with me.
