Slow and hard to grow to true leaves

These Basil, like most basil, only grow to a very small size (tried growing on both coconut pads and soil) and won't get to the true leaf size without a complex combination of nutrients and grow time of 1 month+. They should only be at 5 grams or less per 10x20 tray.

I have only used the Basil sprouting seeds. The seeds clumped or worse fell through very tiny holes. I have not used the other seeds in this purchase yet. I am not new to sprouting and found this experience very frustrating. It as be many years since I purchased sprouting seeds from True Leaf. In fact, I still sprout fenugreek without any problems.
