What a beautifully packaged and composed fragrance! Fayoum feels grounded, but not stagnant. There's a warm glow, earthy sweetness, and elegance that you carry with you as the scent unfurls. Perfect purchase.

Wearable Art
With the rise of niche and independent perfumery, there's a lot of avant garde stuff out there -- it's interesting but not necessary something I'd reach for. But Fayoum? This is totally unusual and also utterly wearable art. Sticky dates, sweet figs, a little grassy whiff, and this gorgeous, earthy, mineralistic punch of damp clay. Dana is such a mind-blowing talent and I am completely stumped on which full sized bottle to get.

It's the driest scent I can imagine, but with a lot going on. Unique and really great.
