Disappointing

I tried Cosmic, Pilgrimage and I Want You. Cosmic smells like incense: pleasant, but not for wear, may spritz the furniture with it. Pilgrimage smells woody but also like decay: maybe masculine, but also not something I enjoy. I Want You is barely perceptible on my skin, smells very herby, does not read sweet or gourmand: not bad, but not as advertised and again not a smell I like at all.

Great way to discover new worlds

I wanted to try "I WANT YOU" and decided to add a few extra samples in the order.....Nymphaea is blowing me away. I'm totally in love and spray it on my wrists throughout the day just to refresh the smell. I love the way it warms to my skin. This is a great way to make some unexpected discoveries! The scent profile isn't what I would have normally chosen for a blind buy. (I loved I WANT YOU too. But nymphaea has me hypnotized!)

Bold, unique scents

The quality and elegance of these unique fragrances is undeniable. Each generous sample is beautiful, rich, and radiant, with none of the chemical harshness so often found in long-lasting scents. The packaging is also impressive; well-made and beautifully presented. I am wearing Cosmic today, and feel like an elevated version of myself in it. These scents feel like finding a natural adornment that enhances my inner light. I felt the same in Mala, which I wore yesterday; I can foresee Tanais scents becoming part of my daily ritual. I'm thrilled to have discovered Tanais and look forward to wearing each of the samples. Cosmic is top of the list for a full bottle, and Mala will be not far behind. Or maybe Mojave. Or, actually, all of them? These scents truly stand out. They feel natural while being big performers, and they stand up to heat and humidity without becoming overwhelming, without fading away, and without devolving into chemical mess-- even through 10 straight hours of Mardi Gras! At long last, I've found the brand that feels like me. To the founders: Many thanks for the thought and care put into developing this wonderful line of perfumes. Your care shines in every aspect of your work.
