Great lure great price

Cast Master is great for casting and jigging, and I even troll with them Strippers and drum like it. It really is one of the best long casting lures, especially the heavy ones.

Poor quality

Upon receiving these the bucktail was coming out while still in the packaging as you could see the strands of bucktail through the plastic. Then when removed the slightest touch to the area and the rest of the bucktail would come out. Sent pics and an email to Acme, and no response whatsoever. Thought I would let Discount Tackle know just as a FYI and without me even asking they sent replacements but these too had the bucktail falling out with no use whatsoever. As soon as one was used in the water after the fist cast it came back with all the bucktail gone.

Kastmaster

I use Kastmaster lures almost exclusively in Colorado. I get more results with them than with any of my lures, especially for pike. I purchased 2 2oz. lures recently. Unfortunately, I lost them both when I hit snags where I was fishing. I think they were a bit too heavy for the depth of the reservoir I was fishing in. I recommend Kastmaster to everyone I meet when I'm fishing!
