Love the feel of the pattern emerging

I enjoyed stitching this up and using different colors for the different sections of flowers. Finished, it reminded me of the beautiful gardens in our neighborhood park. It is rewarding to feel the weight of the sampler increase as the stitches are added. I would highly recommend this fun, not to difficult pattern for beginning Hitomezashi fans!

I love this sampler…I wish there was a picture of a completed one so I could decide if I was doing it correctly. I felt making each side of a flower, or leaf, was making stitches that were just too big.
