Locatelli Pecorino Romano Cheese Wedge

Good cheese, bad communication

This arrived more than a week after being shipped and, of course, had not been refrigerated for days. There was no response from the shop when I inquired (twice), even though I contacted them by text as requested. I can get this cheese elsewhere and won’t be returning.

Locatelli is a wonderful cheese! BUT it is the service from Piccolo's that is the BEST!!! I live (and I love where I live) where Italian foods are hard to find. Whatever I order from Piccolo's arrives in excellent condition. Talk about packed with care. Glass bottles are triple and quadruple wrapped to protect the product during transit. Kudos to Piccolo's for the wonderful selection of tough to find authentic products (especially in Kentucky) AND for being willing to ship where great Italian products a hard to find! Thank you, Piccolo's!!
