Really beautiful piece.

I recently received this pen, after reading about the Maki e technique and seeing this design. I was pleasantly impressed by the colors, design and even the texture of the pen. It’s very light, and the gold plated steel nib, with a black ebonite feed was really smooth. Even the packaging and the nice sleeve to store it speaks of the pride and dedication of the team behind.

Beautiful piece of art (but ink doesn’t flow well)

The pen is definitely one of the most beautiful ones I have in my collection. The gold nib is flexible which is nice but the ink flow is not really good. The first letter at the beginning of a sentence usually end up only half written (the other half is just blanc). Quite disappointing as I am not buying pens to look at but to actually use them daily.
