Featherstone UL Granite 2P Rainfly

The Featherstone UL Granite 2P rain fly made it possible for me to take my friend on his first backpacking trip comfortably. Since I’m a bigger person, sharing a tent can be pretty cramped, so having a second tent with its own rain fly made a huge difference. We were both able to sleep comfortably in separate tents and stay protected from the weather. The delivery was fast, and Featherstone always makes the checkout process smooth and easy. Overall, I’m really happy with the purchase and look forward to using it on more trips.

Good, but not great. Please redesign the rainfly.

The product is OK. I feel the material isn't as heavy as my original version, so I was a little disappointed with that. Having the logo printed on the inside of the rainfly was neat, but it looks like it would eventually wear off over time. For cons, I was cold inside the tent because the rainfly doesn't prevent cold air from going underneath. Also, the design has changed, so it's not as easy to setup as my original with the buckles. I wish that you would add grommets to the inside top of the tent near the zippers so that the tent doesn't slip. The rainfly would attach to the center part of the pole like the main tent does. This was an issue with my original rainfly, but the design hasn't been improved yet. Also, you have to position the side flaps just right so that the air vents don't close up. I keep coming back to Featherstone because I like your customer service, but I feel there are better tents available for comparable prices. Also, as a 2-person tent, it's really just big enough for one person. I've tried the tent with two people and it's a miserable experience. That's my 2 cents.
