It's very sturdy. The fireplace doesn't change color. And it doesn't look very realistic. I do love the size. And the quality. The fireplace just looks a little cheap to me.

It was a Journey

I was searching for something with very specific needs. It had to be a certain height and width, with storage and a contemporary fireplace that could provide supplemental heat in one room. Well I finally found it with Komi 3. Everything I needed. I still did my homework and checked out melbe and what people liked or didn't about it. I even contacted them to which I received a prompt response. The one fear that was raised that could not be addressed until I saw touched felt it. The downside of ordering online you at the mercy of the seller. My other concerns were the complaints about assembly, I was intimidated but made the purchase and crossed my fingers. It arrived quickly in 3 boxes. Starting with the largest box unfortunately you must be able to follow the pictures to assemble as there are no English text at all. Some stuff was straight forward other things like the last step clipping and levling the doors whew.... I also found the assembly videos on YouTube which help some also but needs updating because stuff is not the same but it helped to see it visually. It was a big puzzle. Once done I one knew how well constructed it was I build it per the specs melbe set up and worked like a sturdy piece of furniture should feel like. Reasonably priced, good quality would recommend. Just be patient or get a service to assembly it's worth it. Only con: Side lights cool but not practical as the even low they are distracting on. Sorry another con: your marketing department is stellar but from the moment I searched and visited you you have haunted every part of my electronics your ads are everywhere. Fyi I can tell you that me not you decide what and from whom I purchase not being stalked by your system . I thought it would stop after purchase, because surely I do need another one right now. It is overkill and annoying. Otherwise, all was positive and satisfactory.
