It is certainly a hat. The leather patch on the front is great quality. The texture is a little rough, but that isn't much fault of your own. I got the flat bill, and the actual cap is much deeper than I am used to, so despite my preference of many years, I definitely would've gone with the curved bill.

Not the same quality as the yupoons. My most recent purchase appears less quality. Not to satisfied.
