As someone pretty new to technical tree climbing this book has been very helpful to me. It is well and clearly written and organized, and has excellent illustrations. It explains the what and why of many foundational methods of using knots for tree work very well. For a more general overview of working with trees, which includes some of the same knot info found in "Knots at Work,"I recommend "The Tree Cimber's Companion" by the same author.
