I purchased the book for my son who has taken on a project to clear his front yard of overgrowth. It's an excellent appendum to "The Climber's Companion ".

Very helpful book. Good descriptions and illustrations for best practices, what to avoid and why. Good for those new to felling as well as more technical aspects for the more experienced. Covers chain saws, hand saws and other tools.
