Sweet 35 Optic

I had the opportunity to use the Lensbaby Sweet 35 for the first time while capturing the diverse beauty of Hawaii. It took a bit of practice to get accustomed to its unique features, but once I did, the results were incredible! The lens's 35mm focal length and selective focus capabilities allowed me to emphasize Hawaii's landscapes, wildlife, and vegetation in a captivating manner. The sharp sweet spot and strong blur towards the edges created a dreamy, artistic effect that drew attention to intricate details in my images. I was able to capture a wide range of subjects, from the stunning landscape of Waimea Canyon to waves crashing on a rugged volcanic shoreline, as well as wildlife like the endangered state bird of Hawaii, the Nene. The lens also helped me create dreamy photos of the tropical flowers that dot the island. In conclusion, it definitely allowed me to add a touch of creativity and artistry to my images and the Sweet 35 is a great addition to my kit.

I love this lens to be able to have a lightweight small lens that creates a focused sharp spot and allows the other areas to be blurred helps to create a dreamy look. I am addicted to Lensbaby!

Have only used it a couple times for practice before I head out of town where it might be used for my photography shoots. Not that easy to use, Probably the hardest of all the lensbabys I have. Getting better this one takes some practice. Everyone says use live view but I found the view finder works better for me to get the sweetspot in focus. I also got the composer II mount for the omni's I have also recently purchased I'm still playing with..
