disappointed to realize that the black hat is not all black

I was a bit disappointed when I received these and realized that the "black" hats were white under the bill. For my working man whose hands are forever covered in engine grease, mud, bait fish, ocean salt, etc, the white will quickly grow VERY dirty. Also since he works on a boat all day, I'm afraid the white will only exacerbate the reflection of the sun on the water rather than helping to provide a bit of necessary shade for his eyes. If I had known about the white, I'm afraid this definitely would have been a deal-breaker for me. We're also not really a fan of the giant white BB logo on the side, but that's just personal preference. Otherwise these are beautifully crafted; the stamps on the leather are very detailed.
