Alkali Revel 3 Inline Hockey Skates

Very comfortable skate

I’m an ice hockey player trying to keep up on skating any way I can because of the pandemic. I have no background with inline skating, but needed a half size skate so selected the Revel 3. I’m using outdoors on asphalt. They are tremendously comfortable In the ankle with a plush heel lock. Your ankle will sink into the foam once laced. Pros: Extremely comfortable skate. True to size chart. Heel lock is awesome. It also has a spring feeling to it you’ll notice the first time, but will get use to immediately. The padding on the tongue is unbelievable. I have lace bite and circulation issues because I have bony veiny feet. If tied too tight, my feet go numb. The padding allowed perfect comfort and I didn’t have to retie once during my season. Cons: There aren’t a ton of skate options with outdoor wheels. The Konnix wheels are really sweet and responsive, but I immediately replaced with outdoor wheels before skating. Wish there was an option to purchase that way. The one major con so far is the grip graphics on the inside liner peeled off on my first use. Atleast 80%. I’ve seen this happen over time with ice skates, but not on the first use.
