Very nice vest, a bit scratchy

I consulted on sizing for my 45" chest and was advised that a Large would be form fitting and an XL looser. This was spot on (I purchased an XL). Depending on usage I could have gone either way. I would definitely go for a large size Vest Sorskog were I to buy one as the unlined design lends itself to more athletic pursuits. Overall construction of this vest is very nice as I expected after loving the Kirjas jacket I purchased last year. I have found that the wool pile lining of this vest can be quite scratchy, even through a relatively heavy shirt if the weave on the shirt is not very tight. I am hopeful that the wool will soften over time, or I may seek some sort of conditioner for it, as it can be distracting. So in conclusion, wool sensitives be cautioned, but otherwise this is a great vest.
