Island Thyme Delight

The best

I first tried the Island Thyme Delight sauce at the store in San Juan in June 2024, and it was so good that I had to order the 14 oz size to my home in Chicago, as well as a couple of the 3 oz ones to gift to friends.

I love my island thymes delight. I 've been ordering it since my friend brought me a bottle when she returned from Puerto Rico. It makes the best grilled shrimp.

We found Spicey Caribee by accident in 2019 - it was directly across the street from our hotel. We wandered in out of curiosity and were surprised at to find a small shop crammed with spices, condiments, lots of samples, and an incredibly friendly staff in a family-like atmosphere. We went back each day to browse and sample, and wound up taking a lot of the condiments and sauces back. I've been ordering products by mail consistently since then and giving some to friends (who loved them!). They make great presents or just items to give away on our return. The orders are processed fairly quickly, and they are strongly wrapped and boxed when shipped (we live in Illinois). I was emailed to review my latest order, multiple bottles of: Island Thyme Delight, Saucee Tamarind, Passionfruit Pepper Sauce. We've them before (we vary our orders each time). These are all tasty, mild (ie, not hot) and are good for adding to grains (rice, pilaf, couscous, quinoa) for extra flavor. They are also good on eggs or sandwiches and quite versatile. Even with shipping, prices are quite reasonable, and I haven't found anything comparable in flavor, quality, or cost in the Chicago area.
