Awesome little meter. Installed in on the front of a EU2200. Drilled a hole on the white line in the upper right corner of the CO alarm area and fed the wire right to the plug. Wrapped it 4 times and was perfect. Don’t change the cylinder options. Wish the battery was more accessible. The mounting screws do not work in this area so I need to replace the tape when the battery dies. Not the end of the world! Buy it to keep an eye on oil changes and run time! Cheap and easy insurance. Also get the iridium spark plug and oil change kit. Make life easy! Super fast shipping and amazing customer service. Thank you Hutch!

It works but PIA to install

It works but not accurate and difficult to install and adjust. First off the battery was dead in unit. Was try to figure out why it wasn’t working and. Otho g on how to turn It on. The protective plastic that you pull out from the battery compartment when you are unpacking was folded over inside the cover. It is nearly impossible to access spark plug with zero slack. I got it to work but not secure. Do not mount the display inside the access door. The unit has max temp of 125 degrees, which on a hot day will be well in excess of range. Tried several programming options but the hour meter is not accurate, it’s running about 20% faster than stopwatch. Tried adjusting number of loops on the spark plug wire but due to access I gave up on that. I wish it was more accurate. I just know when I get to 100 hours I have a buffer of 20 hours. All being said, and how inexpensive it is, I will say it was worth it except for the skinned knuckles.
