I have Kirke's Blue on St. Julian A rootstock. In 2024 it produced maybe a dozen blooms but set no fruit. In '25 its bloom time matched that of Ersinger from beginning to end (which end date matched the beginning of full bloom for my midseason blooming apples) and set 7 fruit. They were round, mid-sized, navy blue, 20-22Brix (roughly percent) and offered vanilla undertone in my dry hot conditions in north Spokane. Two were forgotten in the bottom of my fridge until the end of October and still surprisingly good. The tree has been trouble-free. In both years one or two mornings of frost occurred during the plum bloom.
