I’ve learned a lot about what ingredients in shampoo build up on my hair, and Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride and Hydroxypropyl Guarbare top of the list for me. Unfortunately, it’s hard to find hair products without one of these, even in clarifying shampoos. To make matters more complicated, my hair also hates protein. Prepare to Dye is the only shampoo I found that has none of these ingredients, and it works perfectly. My hair starts getting frizzy and heavy after around a month of curly hair products, so I clarify with this shampoo and follow up with LUS brand deep conditioner and everything goes back to healthy, clean and shiny. Never stop making this product!

It worked well to clean my hair after bleaching. I also used some purple shampoo and conditioner to tone the hair first. The clarifying shampoo did its job of cleaning the hair of previous product before applying color. Very satisfied.
