Nice Wagon and it’s convenient!
I really like the MacSports Classic Wagon. A family member of mine has one, and I have borrowed hers on multiple occasions. She bought it from Costco years ago, and I was always asking to use it. I used hers when I helped move my mom twice and again when I recently moved. That is when I decided to buy one from the company that made hers, MacSports. I even chose the same color because it is such an awesome shade, and I love it!
I truly do like the wagon and use it much more now that I have my own. However, to be completely honest in this review, I am a little disappointed with the handle and how it secures/locks into the wagon. On hers, the handle stays extended once you pull it out. Mine does not. If you barely push on the top of the handle, it slides back down, so it does not stay fully locked in the extended position.
Also, her model has a button that you press to release the handle when the handle gets locked into the wagon. That one push is so simple and not a painful thing at all, when you want to release the handle from the wagon. Mine is not that way at all. Instead, you must pull the handle extremely hard to get it it out from the plastic frame it slides into for storage, or to keep it off the ground when using it. It is not easy to get in and out of that latch at all, which is a huge disappointment. As someone with arthritis, I really struggle to pull the handle out of the latch, and even more so when trying to lock it back in place. A lot of times I cannot do it myself. I have to wait for my husband or daughter to help me do that. I try to be very independent and having to rely on asking people every time I use the wagon for help, is not what I was expecting when getting the wagon my family member has.
Overall, the wagon is great. I also use it to bring grocery bags into the house. I have a long walkway from my parking area to my home, and the wagon makes that so much more convenient. I would recommend the MacSports Classic Wagon, I just wish that it would have been the MacSports Classic Wagon my family member has, and not the MacSports Classic Wagon Next Gen?!
