Appears well built!
Haven't put it to work yet, as I'm still waiting for parts to move forward with the build, but vas is a very reputable company, and I have seen a lot of positive reviews in respect to the performance of this antenna. It will need to be strategically placed in order to be durable enough to survive a freestyle quad, but I'm excited to try it, and save a few grams while doing so.

Finally solder points!
Bought these to use with Frsky R9. Will solder on the wire from the R9mm (it is a smaller U.fl connector) to this antenna and be able to be like the "Cool kids" running crossfire. Not sure if this is the semi or flexible version but it does seem to bend a bit so crashed should be good to go with this antenna. As with all VAS products, no worries about the engineering side of things!

Still on the fence...
I want to like this product for all of it's merits on paper. But in my experimenting, I've run into a few roadblocks. The collector itself is plenty durable... but the way in which the collector attaches to the cable leaves alittle to be desired. I've now had 2 cables/wires pull free from the collector. Also, a suitable mounting location/method has been evasive. On paper, this has no null AND has more sensitivity than the Immortal-T. But if you can't find a good, open spot to install it and the product doesn't want to stay in 1 piece, then in actual practice it is proving to be difficult in seeing it's value.
